ICHSS has a service delivery staff consisting of (60) trained CCAs. ICHSS demonstrates it has staff that has the expertise in areas of instrumental activities of daily living, personal care services and specific authorized tasks and follows specific authorized tasks and follows specific training requirements for such tasks. CCAs are required to become familiar with specific clients’ care plans prior to providing service.
ICHSS recruits and retains staff in a manner in which supports the needs of the program, the staff, the clients and the Agency. The Agency is committed to the ongoing learning needs of all staff. ICHSS provides relevant education sessions given by individuals with the qualifications and expertise to present a comprehensive learning experience for Agency staff. ICHSS responds to changing client profiles and changes to the program and services and provides appropriate staff development activities to meet those needs.
